Nokia Reveals Eco Friendly Mobile

or those of you mobile maniacs who are also concerned about the environment (and we all should be) Nokia has, at their event in Amsterdam, announced a new Eco-friendly mobile phone – The 3110 Evolve. By Eco-friendly, we mean that its covers are made out of Bio-Sourced material i.e. 50% renewable material.

The 3110 Evolve is also quite a fully loaded device that supports Bluetooth withA2DP, infrared, has an integrated FM radio, a 1.3 megapixel camera, MP3 player and supports external memory with microUSB cards up to 2GB. It also supports EGPRS and according to the 3110 Evolve spec sheet it also uses a High Efficiency charger that's quite energy efficient as well. It runs on a Series 40 UI.

The 3110 Evolve is expected to be launched somewhere in the first quarter of 2008.
